Developed with direct feedback from award-winning precision-rifle competitors, its angled contact surface follows the natural position of the thumb while providing a more consistent point of engagement. The aggressive texture maintains traction with bare hands or gloves without adding unnecessary bulk to the handguard.

Standard KeyMod thumb rests frequently lack the correct hardware for AI-style KeySlot systems. This thumb rest includes the mounting hardware required to work with both rail types—no improvised adapters or mismatched fasteners.

Choosing Your Rail Side

Left and Right refer to the side of the handguard where the thumb rest mounts—not your dominant hand.

View the rifle from behind, as if you were shouldering it. Select Left for the left side of the handguard or Right for the right side.

If you are unsure, shoulder your rifle and note which side your support-hand thumb naturally contacts.

Always verify that the mounting hardware seats completely and does not contact the barrel, chassis components, wiring, or other internal parts.

Installation

1. Select the mounting position where your support-hand thumb naturally lands.

2. Insert the supplied hardware through the appropriate KeySlot or KeyMod opening.

3. Confirm that the mounting hardware seats correctly behind the handguard.

4. Tighten the fasteners evenly according to the handguard or chassis manufacturer’s specifications.

5. Verify that the thumb rest is secure and recheck the hardware after its first use.

Do not overtighten.
