The BLACKHORN A&K M249 / Mk.46 is a complete, full-metal airsoft support-weapon build assembled around Bull Craft components and a proven AEG or PolarStar F2 HPA performance package.

This is not a collection of parts or a base gun requiring additional tuning. Every BLACKHORN build is assembled, configured, tuned and tested in-house before it leaves Bull Craft.

Upgraded AEG

A self-contained electrical build tuned for fast response, reliable sustained fire and approximately 1.5 joules using .28g BBs.

The AEG package includes:

• Brushless motor

• Helical gear set

• Compression-tuned internals

• Premium inner barrel and bucking

• Gate WARFET

• Steel bearings

• Bull Craft piston head

• Complete assembly, tuning and testing

A battery and charger are not included.

PolarStar F2 HPA

An HPA configuration built around the dual-solenoid PolarStar F2 and Bull Craft’s purpose-built M249 HPA gearbox.

The HPA package includes:

• Bull Craft M249 HPA gearbox

• PolarStar F2 engine

• Premium inner barrel and bucking

• Amped IGL

• Junkiez TCU

• Complete assembly, air-efficiency tuning and testing

• Approximately 1.5 joules using .28g BBs

An HPA tank, regulator, external air line and required batteries are not included.

Bull Craft External Package

The displayed build price includes the following Bull Craft external components and available configuration choices:

• Bull Craft M249 outer-barrel system

• Mk.46 handguard or M249 M-LOK handguard

• Bull Craft M249 buffer-tube system

• Straight or curved trigger

• Upgraded charging handle and feed block

• TALON motor grip

• Hogue or Magpul MOE/CTR stock with Bull Craft butt pad

• Original A&K magazine upgraded with a Bull Craft magazine insert

The exact barrel, handguard, stock and trigger configuration will be confirmed before assembly begins.

The build includes the magazine supplied with the base A&K platform, upgraded with the appropriate Bull Craft magazine insert. An OUTLAW Drum is not included unless a different magazine configuration is specifically requested.

M249 or Mk.46 Configuration

Build the platform around the role and appearance you want.

Choose the M249 M-LOK handguard for a more traditional support-weapon configuration or the Mk.46 handguard for a shorter, more streamlined front end. Available barrel, stock and trigger options allow the rest of the platform to be configured around your preferred handling characteristics.

Reduced Weight. Increased Capability.

A stock full-metal A&K M249 weighs approximately 15 pounds without a magazine.

A representative BLACKHORN configuration equipped with Bull Craft components and an optional OUTLAW Drum weighs approximately 12.5 pounds.

Final weight varies depending on the selected barrel, handguard, stock and magazine configuration, but the goal remains the same: remove unnecessary weight while improving modularity, ergonomics and field performance.

Magazine and Feeding System

Every build includes the original A&K magazine upgraded with a Bull Craft magazine insert unless another setup is requested.

The magazine and feeding system are installed, tested and verified with the completed build rather than shipped as an untested collection of separate components.

Performance Configuration

The standard performance target is approximately 1.5 joules using .28g BBs. If your field or event requires a different energy limit, provide that information with your build configuration so the platform can be tuned appropriately.

Final performance can vary slightly with BB weight, environmental conditions and chronograph equipment.

Build Time

BLACKHORN builds are assembled to order. The typical build time is approximately 2–3 weeks after all configuration details are confirmed.
